A survey of undergraduate admissions officials at the United States. 2,000 คน ช่วงฤดูใบไม้ผลิที่ผ่านมา ในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวกับการใช้ Application บนมือถือของนักศึกษาภายใต้วัตถุประสงค์ในการศึกษา ค้นคว้า ต่าง ๆ ปรากฎว่า หากเป็น App ที่ใช้อย่างเข้มข้นในเรื่องเรียน มี 6 ตัวที่สำคัญ คือ E-book,MyPocketProf.(ใช้เกี่ยวสร้างdatabase,ศึกษาstudy note หรือข้อสอบเก่า ๆ),Wi-Fi Finder,Calendar,Evernote(ใช้งานพื้นฐานทั่วไปเช่น จดบันทึกหรืองานเขียนต่าง ๆ),Jot Note Scanner Pro(สร้างเอกสารจากภาพถ่าย)

ในด้าน App พื้นฐานที่ติดมากับมือถือทั่วไป ที่ใช้มากสุดคือ Calculator หรือ เครื่องคิดเลข รองลงมาคือ Email และ Notepad ตามลำดับ
