ผู้สมัครสามารถเลือกขอทุนการศึกษาสาขาวิชาต่าง ๆ ดังนี้ วิทยาศาสตร์ วิศวกรรมศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี มนุษยศาสตร์ สังคมศาสตร์ และธุรกิจศึกษา

คุณสมบัติเบื้องต้นของผู้สมัคร มีรายละเอียดดังนี้
-Applicants must have completed a master's degree. 1 Or at least underemployed. 2 Year
-Applicants must select colleges and departments related to the topic of your research.
-ผู้สมัครที่ไม่ได้พูดภาษาอังกฤษเป็นภาษาแม่ และผู้ที่จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาหรือคุณวุฒิเทียบเท่าจากสถาบันการศึกษาที่ไม่ได้สอนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษมาก่อน จำเป็นต้องเรียนเสริมทักษะภาษาอังกฤษกรณีที่มีคะแนนวัดผล

ทักษะภาษาอังกฤษไม่ถึงเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด ดังต่อไปนี้
1.ผู้สมัครรับทุนจะต้องมีผลคะแนน TOEFL ไม่น้อยกว่า 550 Score (ทดสอบด้วยกระดาษ) Or less. 80 Score (Experimenting with the Internet.)
2.ผู้สมัครรับทุนจะต้องมีผลการสอบ IELTS ที่มีคะแนนรวม 6.0 Up และมีคะแนนส่วนย่อย (sub-score) Not less than 5.5
3.Apart from the above.
