Each year Kodak offers student scholarship award for the students of worldwide colleges and universities. The scholarships are for students of film or film production at the undergraduate or graduate levels in a degree or diploma program. Each award will include a cash tuition prize along with KODAK film product grants to assist recipients with future projects. Each institution may nominate up to two students each year for the award. For applying to these award, entries must be postmarked by May 17, 2013.

Scholarship Description: Once again there will be a Student Cinematography Scholarship Award, in addition to a Student Scholarship Award. Each award will include a cash tuition prize along with KODAK Film Product grants to assist recipients with future projects. Participating worldwide colleges and universities that offer a degree or diploma program in film, film production, or cinematography may nominate up to two students each year for consideration for the KODAK Student Scholarship Award and one cinematography student each year for consideration for the KODAK Student Cinematography Scholarship Award. The cinematography student nominee may also be nominated for the KODAK Student Scholarship Award.

Number of award(s): Each institution may nominate up to two students each year for consideration for the KODAK Student Scholarship Award.

What does it cover? -Gold: $4,000 Scholarship Tuition Award and $5,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grant
-Silver: $3,000 Scholarship Tuition Award and $4,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grant
-Bronze: $2,000 Scholarship Tuition Award and $3,000 KODAK Motion Picture Product Grant.

Selection Criteria: Nominees will be evaluated on the basis of academic achievement, creative and technical ability, communications ability, and range of filmmaking experience. Visual Imagery will count 50%, creative and other technical skills 25%, and the other criteria 25%.

Notification: August 2013. The names of the winners may be published on the website at www.kodak.com/go/motion. Winners agree to allow the free use of their names, photographs and general location for publicity and news purposes in connection with the Scholarship Program.
